Peacefully at the Stedman Community Hospice on Friday May 29, 2026, surrounded by family. Gwahsęno:ni started her journey at the age of 74years. Predeceased by spouse Sy Johnson, infant daughter Tannis Dawn; parents Grace (Jamieson) & Franklin Doxtador; siblings, Larry, Wesley, Laura, Victoria, Frank Jr., and medicine friend April Butler.

Survived by siblings; Sandra, Shane (Sharon), Virginia (Rick), Francine, Steven, Dixie (Bill), Stacey, and Dan; special niece and family, Chammy (Mark), Jessica, Stuart (Holeigh), and Tim; special grandchildren, Leila, Ari, Lucas, and Theron; Clanmother, Mary Sandy. Will also be greatly missed by nieces, nephews and their families. 

She will be resting at her home 3644 River Range, Ohsweken after 6 p.m. Friday with wake on Saturday May 30, 2026. Funeral Service and Burial will be held at Sour Springs Longhouse on Sunday May 31, 2026 at 11 a.m. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken. www.rhbanderson.com

Polly was a giving person her whole life, sad to hear
of her passing, but thankful to creator for ending her
pain and suffering. There's a crowd of family in the spirit
world. She's in good company there with those who love her.

Sincere condolences to the Doxtador family, Chammy, Mark, Stu, Tim, Jessica and families she loved and spoke fondly of all of you. It was always good to see Polly, to converse no matter how brief, share a laugh and walk away with a smile. Sending your prayers and hope that you have comfort in your memories. Nya:weh Polly for your friendship there is no more pain and suffering

My sincerest condolences to Chammy and family. I worked with Polly at the Juravinski. (Henderson) hospital.for mamy years So saddened
