HAYES:  DANIEL JOHN “DAN” “DIVER”

Peacefully at home on Sunday May 14, 2017 at the age of 61 years. Beloved husband of Glenda. Loving father of Amy, and Carolyn & Paul. Cherished Papa of Jackson, Lincoln, and Everly. Dear son of Joyce & the late Jack Hayes. Brother of Jim. Son-In-Law of John & Theresa Kingdon. Brother-In-Law of Susan & the late Paul, Robert & Monica, Kevin & Liz, Janice & Scotty, Sheila & John, and Brian & Renelle. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Dan was a longtime employee with Nelson Steel. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main Street South, Hagersville on Thursday May 18, 2017 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hamilton Health Science or the Stedman Community Hospice.  www.rhbanderson.com

One of the sweetest human beings on this planet. He was very kind to me when I cane out and run away from home. I had much respect for him. He would pick up his daughters from school and not once complained.He moved around like a man with legs. Sorry to hear he passed
