Surrounded by his family at his side, we are with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Cory Mark LaForme on Thursday June 25, 2026 at the age of 68.
Beloved and devoted husband of 45 years to Norma Thomas. Loving father of Guy, Bill, Julia (Skylar), and Rose (Marty). Devoted Papa to 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Extra special Papa to his suckies Tash, Prestin and Hayden.
Brother to Rodger (Darlene), Adrian (Jody), Kelly (Owen), Fran (Terry), Phillip (Wendy), Heather (Paul), and Henry (Lynnanne). Brother-in-law to Inez, Norman, and the late Betty (Steve).
Reunited with his parents William and Lois LaForme. Siblings; Barry, Elaine and twin Corrine. Daughter Nancy (Guy) and son Marty. Grandson Justin, great-grandson Shakonentshi:ne.
He will be lovingly remembered by Aunts Rusty and Flora, Uncle Bob, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Resting at his home 2223 Cayuga Road, Six Nations after 6pm Saturday. Funeral service and burial will be held at Lower Cayuga Longhouse on Monday, June 29, 2026 at 11am. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken. www.rhbanderson.com
