June 23, 1950 - August 18, 2024

 

With sadness, we announce the passing of Bonnie Mae Weiderick, on August 18, 2024, at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford, after almost a 7 year journey of battling cancer.
Bonnie was well known in her birthplace town of Hagersville, where she lived an active life. She found pleasure in her apartment, shopping downtown, visits with family and friends, walking, biking, jogging, reading and Bible studies. She loved her late cat, BJ, shopping trips, cooking, doing crafts and gardening.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Karl and Julia Weiderick, her younger brother, Garry and cousins, Leon Liebler and Grace and George Peterson. She is survived by cousins, Carol (Mario) Di Persio, Joanne (Gerry) Vitiello, Donna (the late John) Vogel, Jerry Weiderick, Joyce (the late George) Jackson, Marion Liebler. as well as the children of her cousins.
Bonnie was also greatly supported and cheered by cards, letters, visits and gifts of food during her illness.
Special thanks to her nurse, Clysen, dearest friends, Marlene Burger, Virginia Benner, Marion Baer, Diane Secord, Barbara Black, her landlord, Carlo Zanon, her church friends and her pastors, Pastor Andrew Cottrill and Rev. John Makey. Her funeral service will be held at Fisherville Trinity Lutheran Church, 30 Erie Ave. North, at 11 am, August 31, 2024.
Final arrangements through the Hyde & Mott Funeral Chapel, Hagersville.
If desired, donations in Bonnie’s memory would be appreciated to the Stedman Community Hospice, 445 Grey Street, Brantford, N3X 6S1, 519-751-7096, where Bonnie received the kindest and most compassionate care in the past month.

My condolences, Bonnie was always walking around town making her stops, she was such a wonderful lady. She stopped at Baejj for her Cranberry walnut muffins and for a visit.Rest Easy Bonnie

Condolences to family and friends. As a volunteer driver for Senior Support Services I occasionally drove Bonnie to medical appointments. Always enjoyed the trips and conversations. She is no longer suffering and has been reunited with loved ones. Rest easy Bonnie.

Sorry to hear of Bonnie's passing.Growing up in Hagersville you couldn't help but know Bonnie. In the stores or riding her bike around town she always made her presence know with a friendly hello. She will be missed. Our condolences to the family. From Frank and Dale Vecero.

Will sadly miss not seeing Bonnie around town. Remembering her parents as they where a fixture I our home growing up. Playing with Bonnie and her brother Gary. Knowing her since childhood I miss her conversation about new and old????
