I worked with Blake at the refinery. I grew to know him because of our common love of the outdoors. He was always very sociable and often would generously cook for the entire shift. May his memory be a blessing to his family and friends.

I had the privilege of working on the same team with Blake for many years at ESSO refinery. He was a very giving and dependable person and taught me much through the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hoover family at this time.

I’m so sorry to hear of Blake’s passing. I knew him as one of the best over the years working with him at Esso.
I also heard many hunting stories from Mike, as he loved visiting Blake and the whole gang at the cherished Hoover Homestead.
May all our precious memories and thoughts bring comfort to the Hoover family.

Blake was a valued member of the Premier Hunt Club on the French river. His commrodity and dedication to the camp will be dearly missed. We will miss Blake and have a toast in his honor at our November deer hunt. Cheers to Blake!

So sorry to hear of Blake’s passing. My Dad and Babe were first cousins and Dad and Blake were both beekeepers too. I was lucky enough to go to the homestead with Dad and Mom a few times and loved listening to stories shared as they all visited.
Blake and Babe - together again.
