Barbara Ann Cronk (nee Drinkwater)
1935 - 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Ann Cronk on June 28, 2023, at the Grandview Lodge in Dunnville, Ontario. She was 88 years old.

Barbara's journey was intertwined with that of her beloved husband, Donald Sidney Cronk, until his passing in 2005. Together, they built a beautiful life, creating a strong foundation of love and commitment that will forever be cherished. Barbara was a kind and loving mother to her children, Debbie (Mike), Rudy (Sharon), Kyle (Isabel), and Darrin (Georgia). She was a devoted sister to Honey (Barry) and Donna (Frank). Barbara's grandchildren, Charity, Bucky, Josh, Brittany, Zak, Caleb, Zoey, Ayrie-Anna, and Savanna brought immense joy to her life, and she showered them with care and support. She also held a special place in the hearts of her great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her siblings Florence, Albert, Marguerite, Kenneth, Corrie, Betty, and Catherine, and her sister-in-law Jean.

Barbara had a creative spirit and enjoyed gardening as well as indulging in various crafts, like painting and ceramics. Her faith played a central role in her life, and she found strength and comfort as an active and devoted member of her church community.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff of Grandview Lodge for the exceptional care and support they provided to Barbara during the past few years. Their kindness and compassion will always be remembered.

Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in Barbara's memory.

The family will honour Barbara’s life with a visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes (2020) Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Saturday from 6-8 pm.  Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fisherville on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at 2pm.  Interment will be held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Fisherville.  www.rhbanderson.com

I have very fond memories of Barb as I got to know her through Darrin and Georgia. She loved her sundaes as a treat and watching her favourite tv shows on repeat. D & G would take her for drives and dinner often, and Darrin admired his mother immensely. Barb loved passing thru her old home area in Fisherville and also seeing the lake. It was very special when she was able to come to Zach and Zoey’s wedding in 2021 and it showed how proud she was of all of her family. She will be very missed by so many, and to all of her childen, grandchildren and fam, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Debbie, Randy, Kyle and Darrin,
Thinking of you and your families during this difficult time. I remember some fun get togethers with your mom and Dad and my parents, long ago. Aunt Barb was a sweetheart.
My sincere condolences,
Sherri (Bill and Jean’s daughter)
