At Brantford General Hospital with his family by his side Wednesday February 26, 2025. “Chuck”began his journey home to the Creator at the age of 75. He was the son of the late Alva & Les Martin, H.W. “Sid”; and Judy Jamieson. Survived by his sons Jubal (Cindy), and Wilburn “Sawehes” (Danih). He was dear Soht to Juby Jamieson (Dave), Augustus Jamieson (Asia), Matthew Porter, Jade Monteforte (Robert) and 3 great grandchildren (Eli, Isaiah, and Kaiah). He was brother to Terri Martin, Chichi Martin, John Martin, Judy Doxtator, Wendy Sandy, Sid Jamieson, Joan Thomas, Pat Jamieson, Doug Jamieson, Gary Jamieson, Angeline Jamieson. Predeceased by his eldest son Storrey Jamieson and his siblings Lee Jamieson, Janice Jamieson, Mark Martin, Wendall Jamieson, Nick Isaacs, and special Uncle John Jamieson.

Chuck excelled as a youth in cross country skiing competing in the National Junior Olympics with team Alaska 1967. He was clever, determined, strong-willed and he believed the best way to support Haudenosaunee culture was to raise Haudenosaunee children, and for the community to be self-sufficient through gardening and foraging.
Throughout his life he had special interests building, travelling, hunting, and gathering, astronomy, and being in nature. He also was a lifetime member of Local 736 Ironworkers.

Resting at his son Jubal’s home Friday February 28 after 5pm, 3520 6th Line Road, Lane D, Six Nations. Funeral and burial will be held at Sour Springs Longhouse on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 11am.
