Aleesha Rose Powless
October 28, 1999 - December 17, 2022

With broken hearts we announce that on Saturday December 17th our precious Aleesha Rose has started her final journey home at the young age of 23. Loving daughter of Sheryl Henry and Jeff Powless.  Dear sister of Brandon and the late Jeffrey and Darla Powless. Auntie to Shay. Grand daughter of Leata Henry, Geronimo Henry and the late Jesse and Warren Powless.  Aunts and Uncles Gomer, Wendell (Rhonda), the late Loon (Laurie), Corinne, Randy, Gail and the late Debbie, Gus and Rick. Traditional friend to cousin Maegan.  Best friends to Hailey and Jenna. Special cousin to Taymer, Brandy and Doah. She leaves behind many close cousins and friends who she loved with her whole heart.

Although this may be a sad farewell for those of us left here it will be a great celebration when she is reunited with all her friends and loved ones on the other side. Especially when she is embraced by her big brother Jeffrey who she missed so very dearly. Grief is the last act of love we have to give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love. Rosie touched the lives and hearts of so many people with her loving ways. Aleesha was always down for an adventure and always along for the ride. Her spirit will live on through all of the memories we hold close to our hearts.

Resting at her home, 3028 4th Line, Ohsweken after 1pm Thursday where funeral service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2022 at 11am.  Interment Christ Anglican Cemetery.  Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken.  www.rhbanderson.com
