At Anson Place, Hagersville on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the age of 88 years. Wife of the late Gerald (Judd). Loving mother of Ruth Ann & Robert Cousineau, and Jeff & Christine Hoover. Grandmother of Lindsey & Robert, Tiffany & Craig, Easton, Brett & Johanna, Shannon & Patrick, Shane & Racheal, and 11 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Willard & Marilyn Marshall. Sister-in-law of Reg & Adele, Ida & Roman, Elaine & the late Bill, and the late Glen, and Doug & Peggy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Shirley was a very accomplished school teacher for many years and started out in a one room schoolhouse. After she retired, she was very active in many positions including president of the retired women's teacher federation for Ontario.
The family will receive friends at Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday from 4-8 pm. with funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. www.rhbanderson.com
