Our sincere sympathy to you , Linda, and to the others in the family in the loss of Mario. We know you will miss him very much. We always appreciated his willingness to take part in special activities at our church. I even remember him singing in a quartet with us!! Will keep you in our prayers. With love

Please accept our condolences. We used to be neighbours with Mario and Linda in Selkirk. Our back yard touched. He was a great man who always had time to chat. My oldest Caleb remembers him fondly. I will always remember him walking his dogs and always smiling when I saw him. May he rest peacefully. I’m so sorry.

I'm very sorry to hear about Mario's death. I was happy to have seen him a few months ago when a few of our touch football team guys organized a lunch. 'Motz' was a great fellow to be around. Always had a smile on his face. And I enjoyed seeing him around the Tiger-Cat games but must admit I saw him in Guelph fracture his leg when a player ran out of bounds. Ouch! Once he recovered we had a few laughs over that accident. Lots of good stories about a fellow who lived a great life and left many fond memories.--Glenn Gibson, Vice-Chairman, Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Our deepest sympathy to Mario's family. We will miss seeing our fellow parishioner each week at St Ann's Church and Bob will miss his golfing buddy. As a man of strong faith, he is surely resting in peace.
Sincerely Bob and Rita

Mario and I go back to the 1970's when I officiated his touch football team Monarch Vending with Gibby, John, Rick and Pat. Later he joined us on the field as an official for Hamilton. However he was not as blind as some of us referees. Best of all was his dog who would be at the games. He was faster than any body on the field. I will truly miss him for his sense of humor and advice.
