Richard "Rich" Krochak

April 25, 1964 - July 12, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Michael Krochak (61) on Saturday July 12, 2025 at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville.  Rich is survived by his best friend and wife Donna and their two children Rikki (Jeremy) & Parker.

Always up for an adventure, Rich enjoyed traveling, golf and curling. His time spent as a pyrotechnician & drone pilot led him to many interesting places, events and people.  Rich's true passion in life was his family & friends. His cheery smile and sense of humour will be missed by all. Taken far too soon.

The family will be hosting an informal Celebration of Life Open House on Wednesday July 16, 2025 from 3 - 6 pm at their home.  Come & go as you please, share a memory & help us say goodbye to a good man.

Our families condolences to the family of an amazing friend and co-worker. We worked together shooting fireworks shows for 15+ years. He will truly be missed and it was truly our pleasure to have known him. His legacy will live on within his family and with everyone who has ever had the pleasure to meet him.

Gone way too soon.

My best friend Melanie was Richard’s niece. I’ve known Melanie for almost 40 years. I have lots of found memories of Donna and Richard visiting with Melanie’s parents. Richard was always nice to me and made me feel like part of the family. So sad to hear the news. My condolences to Donna and her kids. Big hugs to all.
