Rulli: Maria “Mary”
Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of 55 years to Domenico. Loving mother of Angela & Mark, Tony & Nancy, and Aldo & Michelle. Dear grandma of Anthony, Tia, Adelle, Sierra, Nicholas, and Benjamin. Daughter of Lucia & the late Nicola DiIulioChiacchia. Sister of Anna & the late Salvatore “Sam” D’Angelo, and Giuseppe “Joe” DiIulioChiacchia. Daughter-in-law of Antonio & Angiolina Rulli. Sister-in-law of Joe & Betty Rulli, Danny & Bonnie Rulli, and Sandy & Sharon Rulli. Maria will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was an adoring grandmother, and a humble person who enjoyed simple things in life, but especially being around family and friends. She always went out of her way to help people. She had a wonderful sense of humour, never afraid to laugh at herself. Maria always put family family first. Family and faith were very important to her. She enjoyed spending time in the garden with the love of her life. Their love and sense of humour have kept them together for over 55 years. The family will honour her life with visitation at the Hyde & Mott Chapel of R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., 60 Main St. S., Hagersville on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Prayers 6:30 pm. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 94 Main St. S., Hagersville on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11 am. Interment Hagersville Cemetery. I met Mary she was a beautiful inside and out. Will always remember her kind words when ever she spoke to me.
She will be in good hands with the angels in Heaven. Will miss her. Sorry for the loss to her husband and her dear children. RIP

It saddens me deeply to hear about Maria's passing she was like a second mother to me growing up she loved to feed us kids in the neighbourhood hold on to the cherished memories to get you through this tough time my thoughts and prayers are with Domenic , Angela, Anthony and Aldo

I am truly shocked and saddened to hear about Mary's sudden passing... I will surely miss seeing her as she walked by my house everyday with her Sister Anna. We would always have time for a quick visit, to talk about the weather, the garden. or whatever.. I am really going to miss seeing her as part of my daily routine. My heart goes out to the entire family as the try to come to terms with what has happened to their dear , kind, gentle soul. May she rest in peace.

My mother lived across the sreet from Mary and Dominic She was a wonderful neighbour and always had a smile on her face. My brother Danny and I will not forget the kindness she showed when our familly passed away.She will always be remembered as a wonderful neighbour. my sincere sympathy to all of your family in the passing of a wonderful person. mary was a part of our 'west end community' & even though i moved away i still went back to visit aunt felty & would see her smiling face. i will remember her as part of my special west end family. caroline (donato-john & helen's daughter)
