Ila June Squire
June 11, 1951 - May 15, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ila in her 73rd year. Loving wife to Richard (Boss) Squire. Mother to Amanda and Emilou (Murray). Grandmother to Peyton, Addison and Maddox. Beloved sister to Faye (deceased), Annette (deceased), Wayne (deceased), Jannie, Andrew (deceased), Cheryl (deceased), Yvonne, Goldie (deceased) and Beverly. Special Aunt to Jesse, Sierra, Jaden and numerous other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Zahira Khalid, Caroline Taylor Hill, The Community Paramedics (Mike, Tara and Jocelyn), Six Nations Home and Community Care, Personal Support Workers, Care Partners Nursing and Bayshore Nursing for providing amazing care until the end.
In lieu of flowers donations to honour Ila can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
We will honour her life on Thursday May 16, with a visitation and viewing after 5pm. A funeral will be held on Friday May 17 beginning at 1pm. Both the visitation and funeral will take place at her home located at 382 Bateman Line, Hagersville, ON. Cremation to follow. Arrangements by Styres Funeral Home, Ohsweken. www.rhbanderson.com

How sad this is to hear about Ila. I didn’t know she was sick at all. What a friend she was after I lost my husband and made sure Tina and I had a good meal so often. Was very sad when your family moved back to Canada but that was where your families were. Love and peace to you Boss, Amanda and Emilou ♥️
